KPKKT made history today as its innovation titled "Revolutionising Timber Management through e-Balak : Harnessing Technology for Sustainable and Efficient Logging Practices" secured a Gold Medal in the Agriculture and Forestry Cluster, along with a Special Award under the Industry and Agency Category at the Research and Innovation Week (MPI) 2025, organized by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). KPKKT was ranked in the top 10 out of 422 entries this year. These dual recognitions affirm the ongoing commitment of Kumpulan Pengurusan Kayu Kayan Terengganu Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Golden Pharos Berhad) in championing sustainable solutions within the forestry sector. Through e-Balak, advanced technology is holistically integrated with responsible forest management practices, setting a new benchmark for environmental conservation and operational efficiency.
