A total of 40 participants from various departments under Kumpulan Pengurusan Kayu Kayan Terengganu (KPKKT), including representatives from Golden Pharos Berhad, Pesaka Timber Berhad, Pesama Timber Corporation, and GP Plywood Sdn. Bhd., attended the 2025 Basic First Aid, CPR & AED Course at Bukit Besi Golf Club, Dungun, Terengganu.
The course, conducted by CERT Academy – Leading Academy for Emergency, Safety & Health, aimed to equip participants with essential emergency response skills, particularly in performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
This initiative not only enhanced workplace safety awareness and emergency preparedness among KPKKT employees but also aligned with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Principles 2 and 4, which emphasize responsibility towards workers and the community.
