The Compliance & Certification Department of KPKKT conducted a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study with residents from Kg. Minda, Kg. Talong, and Kg. Tepus, located around the Dungun Timber Complex (DTC). This program is part of KPKKT’s ongoing efforts to fulfill the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification — an international recognition for responsible and sustainable forest management. KPKKT extends its appreciation for the warm welcome and cooperation from the local communities. May this strong relationship between KPKKT and the surrounding villages continue to flourish for mutual benefit.
