KPKKT conducted a water quality assessment at Dungun Timber Complex (DTC) using the expertise of appointed consultants. Water samples were taken from several rivers, including Sungai Paka, Sungai Jera, Sungai Pesu, and the Sungai Udang catchment area. Water quality assessment is an important process in understanding environmental health and the impact of human activities on aquatic environments. It involves collecting data and information to evaluate pollution levels, usability, and the overall impact on aquatic systems.The results of the water quality assessment help KPKKT monitor the water quality levels for the communities involved around DTC for daily use. This report is also important for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.
