A meeting was held with Panthera Wild Cat Conservation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd in the KPKKT Meeting Room, Bukit Besi, Dungun, Terengganu. The meeting was also attended by officers from the Corporate Management & Downstream Products Department of Golden Pharos Berhad, led by Senior Manager, Tuan Haji Zulkifli Bin Omar. Panthera is a company dedicated to protecting wild cats such as various species of tigers and jungle cats in this country, with support from the Malaysian government and private grants. For this project, they will conduct studies in identified areas within the Dungun Timber Complex to observe the positions of wild cats in the area. KPKKT fully supports this good cooperation to ensure the sustainability and conservation of these wild cat species.
